ICNE Burial Services

Helps families with Islamic funeral and burial arrangements, working with Al Marhama.

What to do first

  1. If the death is unexpected at home, call 911. In a hospital or hospice, staff will guide you.
  2. Call Al Marhama or your masjid. They arrange ghusl, the janazah prayer and burial.
  3. Tell the hospital or funeral home the family wants a prompt Islamic burial, without embalming.
  4. Share the janazah time with family and community once it’s confirmed.
